School Psychology and Counseling

The School Psychologist is a critical member of the educational team, responsible for assessing students' learning, behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. The School Psychologist will conduct formal evaluations, generate detailed reports, and collaborate with staff and families to support the development and implementation of individualized student plans. This role contributes to fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment by applying expertise in psychological assessment and intervention strategies. The School Psychologist partners with teachers, administrators, and families to help students thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.

The School Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide emotional, social, and mental health support services to students. This role includes counseling, assessment, intervention, and advocacy to help students overcome barriers to success in the school setting. The Counselor/LCSW works closely with students, families, teachers, and the IEP team to ensure that each student receives the support needed to thrive emotionally and academically. The School Counselor/LCSW will conduct cognitive and behavioral assessments, provide designated counseling services, and assist in the development of strategies and interventions to support student well-being.
