Job Opportunities
Occupational Therapist
Occupational therapists use meaningful activities (occupations) to help students participate in activities which address fine motor coordination, self regulation for modulating sensory input in the classroom and during transitions, handwriting and typing skills, visual motor and visual perceptual skills, and the development of other educationally-related motor skills.
Speech Language Pathologist
Registered Behavioral Technicians
The School-Based Registered Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide intensive behavior support services to students. The RBT will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to implement behavior support plans for students that require consistent and significant behavioral support during the school day.
Speech Language Pathologist Assistants
Under the direction of an SLP, the SLPA will carry out treatment plans and provide direct
therapy for young students with a variety of developmental disabilities.
School Psychologists
Instructional Assistant
The School Psychologist is an integral part of the IEP team who is responsible for assessment, detailed report-writing, collaboration with team members, and making recommendations for intervention and student support. This position will apply expertise in, mental health, learning and behavior to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Behavioral Assistants
Special Education Teacher
The Education Specialist will work with students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe
disabilities in either a learning center or Special Day Class environment.
BCBA
The school-based BCBA Supervisor will oversee the work of Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT's) in schools. Supervisory hours including observation, training, and guidance on behavioral strategies and documentation for students with developmental and behavioral needs.
